September 13, 2018 Call Notes

Not much new to report from the call today. Of note, emPOWER data (data on Medicare beneficiaries that rely on electricity-dependent medical equipment) has been released to the affected states –  this released information includes identifiers (unlike the de-identified data available on the linked public map above).
 
In regard to deployed DMATs, nothing was mentioned. However, they provided an email for information requests, so I requested that information for our members.
 
Most of the information discussed was equipment/pharmaceutical/hospital preparedness. I imagine this will be how these calls will go until we move deeper into the potential response. Moving forward, I will just send everyone updates of CSTE note.
