2019-2020 CSTE Mentorship Program

Goal Setting Exercise Discussion

Happy Thursday! I hope everyone’s 2020 is off to a great start! Based on feedback, we wanted to encourage discussion on Basecamp about the exercises among mentees and mentors. The January exercise was Goal Setting. If you haven’t had the chance to complete this yet, please set some time aside to do so and discuss with your mentor/mentee(s).

Please post your own thoughts for the following questions.  We encourage responding to others’ posts to share praise, resources and/or trainings relevant to the post.

1.       What were some of your goals for your mentoring relationship?
2.       What are some things you hope to gain throughout your time in the program (and potentially beyond)?
3.       What are some potential resources/trainings that you believe would help you accomplish your goals?
