The 2022 CSTE conference was a terrific experience. One thing I learned was how expansive the field of Surveillance & Informatics is--it's a topic I was curious about beforehand, but I realize now that my interest had only covered the tip of the iceberg. Attending the conference brought the work of others to life, which I will try to carry with me when learning throughout my career.
