Happy New Year, all! My top professional development goal for 2022 is to become more competent handling data and performing analyses, which I hope to practice on independent passion projects. Recently I spoke with a professor in my MPH program who recommended starting with NHIS data and NHANES data. (And, if time allows, I intend to read books like SAS And R and R for Data Science.) If others have done independent projects before, I'd love to hear what topic(s) you found most fascinating!
