Dear Sarah,
As a reminder, the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) seeks interested, active members to serve in key leadership positions within CSTE’s Program and Policy Committee of the Executive Board. The deadline to submit the Interest Form<https://cste.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=a74794e707a0d58b86a809758&id=c2db66cdd8&e=438c77f14e> below is Friday, November 4, 2022.This is a great opportunity to lead member, programmatic, and policy development activities focused on specific areas of applied epidemiology and surveillance practice and contribute to CSTE’s vision of "using the power of epidemiology to improve the public’s health."
The Program and Policy Committee is a standing committee of the CSTE Executive Board, created as a result of the June 2021 Council-approved bylaws<https://cste.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=a74794e707a0d58b86a809758&id=48a53dc972&e=438c77f14e> changes, which no longer require Steering Committee Chairs be elected by the membership to the Executive Board. With this change, CSTE is implementing a new process for identifying member leaders interested in serving as Steering Committee Chairs and Vice Chairs.
