Hello, I am Bernie Kloppenburg with the Florida Department of Health in Polk County. I am currently the COVID-19 Epidemiology Response Manager and have been in this role for a little over a year. I have been working in public health for about four years with a focus in epidemiology. I am a graduate of the Florida Epidemic Intelligence Service Fellowship which launched my career in public health by gaining boots on the ground experience in infectious disease epidemiology and emergency preparedness. I am looking forward to working with this awesome group of public health professionals and learning as much as I can.
