CSTE Committee Opportunities
CSTE is seeking interested, active members to serve in key leadership positions within CSTE’s Steering Committees and Subcommittees. Steering Committees and Subcommittees represent specific, applied public health epidemiology and surveillance focus areas and communities of practice. This is a great opportunity to lead member-driven programmatic and policy development activities and contribute to CSTE’s vision of "using the power of epidemiology to improve the public’s health."
This solicitation includes a total of twenty (2) leadership opportunities, including positions for two (2) new Steering Committees approved by the Program & Policy Committee and the Executive Board in April 2023: Health Equity and Tribal Epidemiology and Health Security, Policy and Law. Leaders must be active CSTE members working in a state, territorial, local, or tribal (STLT) health agency with up-to-date member dues. Active members with an interest in serving in one of these positions can find additional information on the Interest Form, including a description of position roles and responsibilities. Submitted interest forms from eligible candidates will be reviewed by the Program and Policy Committee.
