Currently, my schedule is scattered with SO many meetings and I feel very scattered. I am trying to set more boundaries by blocking off my calendar in advance to allow for time to take breaks, eat lunch, and focus on work projects.

Get hands-on experience in epidemiology. Changing the career is difficult, and I am still navigating between my clinical background and working toward getting a better opportunity for epidemiology roles. My main aim is to get into the CSTE AEF to get hands-on experience to build my confidence and get more insight into this field.

I've always struggled with my weight, and I have had some recent health issues for which the weight is not helping. So I've decided to bite the bullet and hire someone to keep me on task with my nutrition and exercise goals. That's my personal goal.
Professionally, I have this new job as public health center director, and I'm still getting used to all the interactions/politics/personalities to deal with. So my goal for 2023 is to learn to negotiate better and be more diplomatic in my approach to people who feel that the best way to deal with public health problems is to do so like they did back in the 70s and 80s... Because, in the opinion of some of them, "people don't get their health advice from Twitter, or whatever." ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
