Discussion: What project have you enjoyed recently?

I have enjoyed working on code and code translation in Databricks. 

Working with Household Pulse Survey data! This is a nationally representative survey rolled out by the Census Bureau in partnership with other federal agencies to collect state- and city- level data on a wide range of household indicators related to the social, economic, and health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Data have included things such as unmet mental health care needs, vaccination and booster behavior, long covid symptoms, loss of employment, and disability.

I am working on a meta-analysis for coursework, and it is fun to see the influence of individual measures of association and the effect of pooled estimates and how differently the data analysis works for this particular cohort of research as compared other data analyses that I work for Biostatistics. 

We are in our 3rd year of our BATA project...Bat Data! We have been identifying bats tested at the state lab for 3 years now and started posting the results on a webpage as well!

Working with local health departments and community partners to set up mpox clinics.

We just worked on a pilot rapid community assessment in two towns with the objective of identifying why children are not up to date on their immunizations. It was incredibly rewarding going into communities and talking with residents about their barriers and suggestions for how to better communicate, educate, and provide access.
