My name is Dr. Vanessa M. Griffith, DrPH. I am a native New Yorker, a military brat, and an active duty (full-time) servicemember in the United States Army. I earned my doctoral degree in public health (with a concentration in Epidemiology) in October 2019. Ultimately, I aspire to become a communicable disease epidemiologist at the conclusion of my military service. In addition to this aspiration, I am also interested in pursuing a secondary career as a community health educator, either for a non-profit organization or a local or state health department in the state of Georgia (where I plan to relocate to after my military service).
