Jesse from Indiana

Hello! I'm Dr. Jesse Knibbs and I work as an Enteric Epidemiologist at the Indiana Department of Health. I started in this position in February 2022 and previously worked as a Supervisory Public Health Veterinarian for USDA - FSIS for about 1.5 years. Currently I focus on investigating foodborne/waterborne outbreaks of various enteric diseases (salmonella, E. coli, etc.) and I also help coordinate our wastewater surveillance program for COVID-19. I am excited to be part of this group and learn from both our mentors and each other!
