Watching and attending seminars, working on resume, and constantly building on soft and hard skills. 

Participating in professional development workshops hosted by my colleagues and studying for my upcoming SAS certification exam. Good luck to you all in working towards your professional goals this month!

I have participated in a few different collaborative events/meetings where I have given some short presentations (practicing my public speaking skills). Next week I am taking the SAS Programer I course, which is being offered through my work center. I am also working with my amazing mentor to submit a statement for Delta Omega induction!!

I am currently working on obtaining my certification in infection control (CIC) and plan on sitting for the exam sometime in August 2023. In addition, I am currently part of the Florida Department of Health Research Excellence Initiative cohort where I am looking to improve my proficiency in public health research and ultimately develop a project that will benefit my county health department and perhaps be published or presented at a conference. When I have downtime (haha) I am reviewing ways that I can reflect on and improve my skills as a supervisor.
