Draft Workshop Goals:
The workshop aims to:
1) Provide relevant and timely learning opportunities for epidemiologists, public health emergency preparedness coordinators, emergency managers, and academia in the field of disaster epidemiology
2) Provide attendees an opportunity to learn from agencies about adapting fieldwork, sheltering plans, and disaster response efforts during the pandemic
3) Provide attendees with a better understanding of the role of health equity and vulnerable populations planning in disaster epidemiology
4) Describe existing data systems, methods, and sources that are used in disaster epidemiology and highlight areas of improvement, successes and places for innovation related to data modernization in disaster epidemiology
