Hi ALOE,

For our meeting today, we plan to cover the following with the OHA informatics team and other OHA staff:

Intro to the informatics team at OHA – Who is the team? What are the roles?
Overview of how Opera is built and why Opera has been struggling
Plans for Opera moving forward and OHA goals for Opera functionality
OHA recommendations for exporting data and answering questions about data (i.e. calculated fields)
Additional questions from county DAs and Epis

We set-up this meeting in the hope to discuss between counties and with OHA epi/DA needs in the following areas:

Data access and inability to or large amounts of time lost trying to do front end exports
System issues causing double data entry or no entry into source system
Need for more opportunities to ask about methodology, table structures, calculated fields and how counties can inform adding questions in Opera

Here are some specific asks/needs from epis/DAs to address:

Access to definitions and workgroup to create a data dictionary to standardize across the counties
A point person at OHA to send questions about topics such as calculated fields, logic behind fields, etc. who can answer within a week or less
Information on how OHA is using fields and which ones are considered “usable” or not (i.e. MMWR)
Workgroup or more frequent meetings to continue discussion
