ALOE+ Planning Update
Hello ALOE+ members!
The planning team has developed a meeting structure for this group moving forward that we would love your feedback on! Our vision is for each ALOE+ meeting to focus on a cross-cutting topic that will apply to all types of epidemiology as well as be a space for epis/researchers to share out noteworthy projects or findings. As such, we envision longer but less frequent meetings to accommodate both a conversation and a presentation. We would like to make these meetings be an opportunity for us to share our work and receive feedback as well as a place to learn new skills.
We’ve created a survey to get your feedback on meeting length and frequency, as well as getting some topic ideas and presentations in the pipeline for future meetings. Please complete the survey by COB on July 29: https://clackamascountyh3s.sjc1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3Uj3OYwvVPEkv1I
I’ll be sending out a meeting invite for a one-hour meeting in September where we can discuss the results of the survey and plan out our next several meetings.
I’m excited about the possibilities for this group! Hope you all are too! Always please feel free to add new members to the Basecamp even if they aren’t strictly county public health. For example, our Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board folks have joined!
Cheers!
