CSTE is working with PHII to offer the 8 steps course at a discount (as low as $525 per person) for AITT trainees. Designing and Managing Public Health Information Systems: 8 Steps to Success is a short, instructor-supported, distance learning course in public health informatics. This eight-week course describes the role of program staff in the development and management of public health information systems. For each phase of information system development, known as the IT lifecycle, learners will receive practical guidance for effectively participating in the process, including concrete steps and checklists. At the end of this course, learners are better equipped to communicate with IT and develop systems that meet programmatic needs.
