Descriptive Webinar Title: System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Overview: SDLC provides a standard project management framework that can improve the quality of information systems. The concept of following a consistent project management framework to boost quality outcomes can be applied equally to software development and public healthcare delivery improvement. This session will describe how a SDLC can be designed specifically for public health and will focus on vaccine preventable and reportable disease registry examples.
Use Case: Immunization Information Systems (IIS), integrated disease surveillance systems, cancer registries.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this webinar the participants will be able to:
1. explain the basic steps of SDLC,
2. describe how using SDLC Planning can increase the chance of success for informatics projects, and
3. apply SDLC steps to an illustrative example to explain the goals of each of the steps.

I agree with Rachel above. Also, during webinar 1, our team found the simultaneous chat to be distracting. It was difficult to listen to the presentation and also pay attention to the chat questions and responses. If the chat feature is used in future webinars, it would be helpful to allow separate time for chat Q&A. Thanks!
