2025 Syndromic Surveillance Symposium

CSTE is excited to see you shortly at Day 3 of the 2025 Syndromic Surveillance Symposium! As a reminder, we will start the day in this Zoom room at 12:30 pm ET for the Daily Open, Logistics, and Overview. You can find the full list of events available through the Confex platform.
If you have colleagues who are interested in attending the Syndromic Surveillance Symposium, please have them register by completing this form. They can use the attached program packet to access Zoom links.
Please take a moment to review the following virtual event information.
Confex
- Session materials and descriptions, Zoom information, and registrant details are available in the 2025 Syndromic Surveillance Symposium Confex platform.
- Log in instructions and platform navigation tips can be found in the document attached.
- If you haven’t received an email with instructions for how to access Confex, please contact syndromic@cste.org.
- Those who have registered for the Symposium since yesterday will receive access to Confex later today – in the meantime use the attached program packet to access Zoom links.
Zoom Rooms
- All sessions will be held using the Zoom application.
- The meeting links are available through the Confex platform and in the attached program packet. After clicking a link, the session will open in your desktop application.
- If you are unable to install the software due to security protocols, you can still join the meeting using a web browser by clicking “join from your browser” on the same page.
- Mute your line when not speaking and limit background noise when speaking.
- Please use your webcams during Roundtable discussions and Virtual Networking sessions to enhance dialogue and engagement.
- Please turn off webcams during presentations to avoid distraction. Attendees are welcome to turn their videos back on during open forum portion of the session.
Recording
- All sessions are being recorded for later viewing purposes.

Engagement Opportunities
- The Symposium is an energizing time to collaborate with colleagues and spark new ideas and insights to advance the field. Participants are encouraged to sustain the momentum by recording ideas and action items as they emerge, documenting colleagues’ contact information for continued collaboration, participating in community discussions, and identifying a time to discuss event learnings and reflections with others.
