Abrazo Cave Creek Hospital (Maricopa County) in Production as of 8/13/2021

Hi Everyone,

We have a new facility in Maricopa County reporting to Production as of this morning, Abrazo Cave Creek Hospital.

It is a newly opened microhospital, which makes it Abrazo's third microhospital in addition to Abrazo Mesa Hospital and Abrazo Surprise Hospital. Since this is an add-on location to the Abrazo network, we are not going to have a formal team meeting scheduled for this go live activity. If you have any questions, please let us know via email. The Facility Use Guide will be updated within the next week with this new hospital.

Abrazo Cave Creek Hospital at a glance:
  • 13 ER exam rooms
  • 1 operating room
  • 1 procedure room
  • 3 bed post-anesthesia recovery unit
  • 8 inpatient beds
  • Imaging suite with x-ray, ultrasound and CT
  • Open 24/7
  • Closely integrated with sister hospitals like Abrazo Arizona Surgical Hospital at 40th St. & Bell in Phoenix for patients who may require more complex care
  • Designed with an emphasis on convenience, efficiency and short ER wait times
  • Focused on emergency care and surgeries like appendectomies, gall bladder surgery, etc.
  • Located at 5227 E Carefree Hwy., Cave Creek, AZ 85331
  • An operating room, recovery room and eight inpatient beds for overnight stays are what differentiates Abrazo Cave Creek Hospital from urgent cares and freestanding ERs

Thank you!
