AZ BioSense Community of Practice

The mission of the Arizona BioSense Workgroup is to work collaboratively as partners to build capacity and quality of BioSense syndromic surveillance in Arizona. Our vision is to improve population health and emergency response through the use of timely and effective syndromic surveillance. This space is a platform for our members to continue discussions and share cross-role topics and questions from providing the data to using syndromic data (clinician/IT/public health).

The Call for Abstracts for the 2023 CSTE Annual Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah is open. The 2023 Annual Conference theme is “Epidemiology Elevated: Supporting People and Places”. The deadline for abstract submission is Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11:59pm EST. One of the Surveillance and Informatics Committee topics is syndromic surveillance so please consider submitting an abstract to highlight the great work you continue to do!
