AZ BioSense Community of Practice

The mission of the Arizona BioSense Workgroup is to work collaboratively as partners to build capacity and quality of BioSense syndromic surveillance in Arizona. Our vision is to improve population health and emergency response through the use of timely and effective syndromic surveillance. This space is a platform for our members to continue discussions and share cross-role topics and questions from providing the data to using syndromic data (clinician/IT/public health).

✅ ACEs Dashboard

The Dashboard Guide for the ACEs dashboard on the myESSENCE tab.  The purpose of the ACEs dashboard is to visualize NSSP’s ACEs-related queries and potential outcomes in one location in a standardized, comparable way. By putting all ACEs-related queries in one location, NSSP users can quickly toggle between topics, see and compare trends in ACE-related queries, and make connections between trends in indicators of ACEs and trends in indicators of potential outcomes of ACEs. The ACEs Syndromic Surveillance Dashboard displays data from syndrome definitions representing ‘Direct Experience of ACEs’, ‘Household and Community Challenges Among Adults’, and ‘Potential Outcomes of ACEs’. These data provide a near-real-time, broad view of trends in specific ACE indicators and potential outcomes from ACEs.
