Call for Abstracts for the 2021 Syndromic Surveillance Symposium
Greetings,
To support the growing community of epidemiologists and public health professionals practicing syndromic surveillance, CSTE, in collaboration with the CDC’s NSSP, will support the 2nd Annual Syndromic Surveillance Symposium during the week of November 15th, 2021.
The 2021 Syndromic Surveillance Symposium will provide a forum for the SyS community to exchange experiences, best practices, and ideas in a broad range of areas, including but not limited to data sharing, syndrome development, data quality, and analytic methods. In addition, symposium attendees will learn about the latest methods and topics related to syndromic surveillance practice, discuss ideas for building syndromic surveillance capacity at the state, territorial, local, tribal, and national levels. Lastly, attendees will have the opportunity to share their thoughts about future NSSP Community of Practice (CoP) activities. Final dates will be determined closer to the event.
The Call for Abstracts for the 2021 Syndromic Surveillance Symposium is now open! Between Thursday, July 1, 2021 and Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:59pm EDT, syndromic practitioners and epidemiologists are encouraged to share their work, best practices, and lessons learned through submitted abstracts. You can submit abstracts here or via the Symposium webpage.
We look forward to your participation in this year’s Symposium!
