AZ BioSense Community of Practice

The mission of the Arizona BioSense Workgroup is to work collaboratively as partners to build capacity and quality of BioSense syndromic surveillance in Arizona. Our vision is to improve population health and emergency response through the use of timely and effective syndromic surveillance. This space is a platform for our members to continue discussions and share cross-role topics and questions from providing the data to using syndromic data (clinician/IT/public health).

📢 ESSENCE Dataflow Backlog

Message from NSSP:

BioSense Platform Production Processing Backlog:
  • The BioSense platform production system is currently working through a data backlog due to a processing issue over the weekend. The BioSense platform IT team has resolved the issue, data processing has resumed, and the team will continue to monitor ESSENCE processing. 
Effect on Services:
  • Users logging in to production might not see data for today or see fewer visits than expected in ESSENCE.
User-Required Actions:
  • None at this time.
We appreciate your patience and expect ESSENCE data processing to return to normal very soon.
