New CCDD Categories in NSSP ESSENCE:
Change in Taste or Smell v1 added 11/04/2020
CDC All Drug v2 added 10/23/2020
CDC Opioid Overdose v3 added on 10/23/2020
*New CDC All Drug v2 and CDC Opioid Overdose v3 CCDD categories incorporate the new ICD10-CM codes for opioid overdose that include removal of certain codes.

Make sure you take a look at the tools Sara created to compare the syndromes. You can use this for other syndromes beyond the suicide CCDD categories.

Please note for any presentations that use the syndromic surveillance data to request review and approval from ADHS at least 2 weeks prior to submitting the abstract for the conference.

Remember to update how you are using the syndromic data in November with our monthly check-ins found in Basecamp. It really makes a difference when we are able to use your updates as part of the information we report to CDC for multiple grants.
