AZ BioSense Community of Practice

The mission of the Arizona BioSense Workgroup is to work collaboratively as partners to build capacity and quality of BioSense syndromic surveillance in Arizona. Our vision is to improve population health and emergency response through the use of timely and effective syndromic surveillance. This space is a platform for our members to continue discussions and share cross-role topics and questions from providing the data to using syndromic data (clinician/IT/public health).

NSSP CoP (NEW!) Syndromic Health data Access, Reporting, and Exchange (SHARE) Subcommittee Call

Greetings,
 
The new NSSP CoP SHARE Subcommittee call will have its first call scheduled for September 3rd from 3pm-4pm EST.
 
The structure of this call will rotate every three months as follows:
 
Month 1 – Data Sharing Meeting for all NSSP CoP users and Program Partners
  • Current and forthcoming data sharing initiatives will be highlighted. Meetings will be structured to address the various objectives, share success stories, and engage in high-level conversations surrounding data requests and best practices.
Month 2— Meeting with Site Admins Only
  • Plan for free-from, unsanctioned discussions of pressing national data sharing initiatives, grant work involving syndromic data, new data sources, and other topics of interest.
Month 3— Regional Breakout Meetings (geographic regions TBD)
  • Jurisdictions can share local processes in greater depth in these rotating small groups. This space will also serve as a place to discuss regional collaboration and initiatives including discussion of public health threats specific to those regions.
