AZ BioSense Community of Practice

The mission of the Arizona BioSense Workgroup is to work collaboratively as partners to build capacity and quality of BioSense syndromic surveillance in Arizona. Our vision is to improve population health and emergency response through the use of timely and effective syndromic surveillance. This space is a platform for our members to continue discussions and share cross-role topics and questions from providing the data to using syndromic data (clinician/IT/public health).

Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center (Navajo County) In Production as of 6/14/2021

Good morning team,

This is to inform everyone that we have a new reporting facility from Navajo county added to the BioSense/ESSENCE as of this morning.

Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center started their hourly submission to BioSense production platform about two hours ago and we will be communicating more about this newly onboarded site at the go live call with all the stakeholders which will be scheduled soon. 

With Summit onboarded today, we have now achieved 100% coverage for ED/IP visits in the Navajo county barring any future hospital/freestanding ED openings.
