AZ BioSense Community of Practice

The mission of the Arizona BioSense Workgroup is to work collaboratively as partners to build capacity and quality of BioSense syndromic surveillance in Arizona. Our vision is to improve population health and emergency response through the use of timely and effective syndromic surveillance. This space is a platform for our members to continue discussions and share cross-role topics and questions from providing the data to using syndromic data (clinician/IT/public health).

BioSense Platform ESSENCE Downtime:
The BioSense Platform will be upgrading the ESSENCE servers to Apache Tomcat 9 on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, starting at 11:00 am et. ESSENCE will be unavailable during the upgrade. We expect ESSENCE to be down for 30 minutes. All other services will be unaffected. ESSENCE should be available by 12:00 pm et. We will send a closeout email once the upgrade is complete and ESSENCE is restored.
