AZ BioSense Community of Practice

The mission of the Arizona BioSense Workgroup is to work collaboratively as partners to build capacity and quality of BioSense syndromic surveillance in Arizona. Our vision is to improve population health and emergency response through the use of timely and effective syndromic surveillance. This space is a platform for our members to continue discussions and share cross-role topics and questions from providing the data to using syndromic data (clinician/IT/public health).

Join our first Exploratory Analysis meeting of the year! We will be discussing an overview of what to expect for the year, goals, updates, and more. 
We will also have a special presentation from the Vaccine-Preventable Disease Program on the Influenza Dashboard. 

Monthly call to (1) Discuss methods, and use cases and ask data-related questions related to the syndromic surveillance data and use of the BioSense analytic tools (2) Coordinate opioid-related prevention and surveillance efforts at the county level using SS data.
