AZ BioSense Community of Practice

The mission of the Arizona BioSense Workgroup is to work collaboratively as partners to build capacity and quality of BioSense syndromic surveillance in Arizona. Our vision is to improve population health and emergency response through the use of timely and effective syndromic surveillance. This space is a platform for our members to continue discussions and share cross-role topics and questions from providing the data to using syndromic data (clinician/IT/public health).

Notes

The NSSP Community of Practice (CoP) promotes knowledge sharing, training, innovation, and timely exchange of syndromic surveillance data among state and local public health agencies and partners. Members include state, local, and federal public health practitioners with responsibility for syndromic surveillance within their organizations (nonprofit and for-profit, healthcare, and academia). Involvement in the NSSP CoP and its related groups is voluntary, free of charge, independent of CSTE membership, and open to any person or organization interested in advancing syndromic surveillance.

NSSP CoP calls are typically held on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 3:00-4:30 pm ET via Zoom. See below for call information, and complete this form to join as an NSSP CoP member.
