- Amy Wolkin (CDC/CPR) – involved with mental health as a part of her vulnerable populations work
- A lot of talk about focusing on vulnerable populations
- Lori Peak (Natural Hazards Center) – does a lot of work regarding mental health during environmental disasters, such has developing modules, etc.
- Amy Williams (ASPR) – behavioral health lead
- Amy Schnall (CDC/NCEH) – has been working with SAMHSA to standardize CASPER mental health questions
- Piloted/used the questions in the 4 USVI CASPERs, which have been used to monitor mental health after the hurricanes and the storms’ long-term mental health impacts
- Was involved in the rapid needs assessment Saipan did after Typhoon Yutu that had a mental health component
- Marigny Klaber (CO) – work on the response to the mass shooting at a Planned Parenthood in Colorado
- Dr. Tua Braun (Violence Prevention Agency) – presented at the CA Preparedness Workshop and came highly recommended, spoke on violence prevention
- Joanne Amlag (WA) - Disaster Mental Health SyS project for Washington state (potential collaboration with AK SyS)
