Note on the draft literature review

Esteemed colleagues,

I am happy to let you know that we have updates for the draft literature review tables for the health effects where the urban heat island intersects with the urban pollution island. The 'Table of Contents' file summarizes the findings by pollutant, heat, confounding and/or effect measure modification and serves as a reference for the numerous articles. The 'Literature Tables' provide a much more detailed summary of the articles including: 

1. The location and time range of the study

2. Air pollution metrics

3. Temperature metrics

4. Health outcome metrics

5. Study results, and

6. Notes

 

To sum up, I have one recommendation, one caution, and one acknowledgement. First, I recommend that you use the 'Table of contents' to identify the articles of interest based on your interest in specific pollutants and/or heat. Second, I caution you that these tables are in draft form at this time and need to be reviewed further in the future (I'm not sure when, though). And, third, I want to recognize Meera Krishnan a very talented and dedicated undergraduate for completing this very lengthy review.
