Soliciting Volunteers: CDC Wildfire Evaluation
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is completing an evaluation of the resource Wildfire Smoke: A Guide for Public Health Officials. They are looking for people to interview who work in state, local and tribal government that have some responsibility related to wildfires. To be included, participants must have read at least part of the Guide so that they can provide feedback.
The information gathered will help us understand how the guide is used and the impacts the guide has had on knowledge and behavior. The evaluation may be used to help improve the guide or create additional resources.
If you would like to participate, or know anyone in your agency to refer, please contact Katie Lynch at klynch@cdc.gov or call 404-498-0704. She can answer any questions and set up a phone interview with those who meet the criteria and decide to participate.
