Updates on case definition?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has insight into an updated case definition?  In particular, looking for updates on how to handle serology and perhaps timing for defining a new case? I've seen some discussions re: outbreak definitions but nothing on an updated case definition which we are very interested in.

Thanks,
Lynn Sosa (CT Department of Health)

Lynn, there was a great discussion about this on yesterday's CSTE State Epi call-- I don't know if anyone from CT was on the call? At any rate, it's under active discussion, there is lots to think about-- I'm sure Jeff Engel or Kathy Turner (the author) would be happy to send you the current version, or talk with you more about it-- they mentioned that they were presenting this to other groups in the next few days as well.

Thanks Chris, sorry we missed it. Would love to see the current version or at least get the highlights on changes under consideration.  Thanks!

We on the CA surveillance team also missed the discussion today, unfortunately. Is the recording from ringcental available and/or could Jeff Engel or Kathy Turner please send a copy of the working draft?  Thanks everyone!  Lauren Stockman (CA Dept of Public Health)
