Welcome! Volunteers requested by 3/2: eCR Toolkit Development Doodle Poll
Dear Colleagues,
We are really excited to announce the next steps in our development of the eCR Toolkit now that we are officially contracted with Kelley Chester of C3 Informatics, LLC! We are seeking volunteers to be a part of our small breakout groups to tackle individual sections of the toolkit (visual site map attached). The first question you will have is probably, “what will the time commitment be?” I’m glad you asked, and like a true epidemiologist, my answer is, “it depends.”

We are seeking volunteers to be a part of our small breakout groups to tackle individual sections of the toolkit (visual site map attached). The first question you will have is probably, “what will the time commitment be?” I’m glad you asked, and like a true epidemiologist, my answer is, “it depends.”
The time commitment will vary based on our volunteers. We have 7 priority sections to build out, which are listed below and in the below Doodle poll. The current plan is to have one 30-60 minute kickoff call with each section’s breakout group that will identify group homework assignments to gather resources, draft content/language, etc. Kelley will lead 15-30 minute check-in calls with each breakout group every other week until the assignments are complete. We will also utilize Basecamp to keep all progress and documentation organized. Kelley and I will review volunteer sign-ups next week and finalize our breakout group structure and timeline.
While we would love everyone to volunteer, we know that smaller groups tend to be more agile and work faster. We are hoping to get volunteers who can commit to joining our calls and doing homework in between calls over the next few months. If you are interested in keeping up to date with what we’re working on but can’t dedicate that time, we plan to provide updates on our progress on our current CSTE subcommittee/workgroup calls.
