Time is running out! Register now for this exciting event on June 15-16!

OHRP’s upcoming Research Community Forum co-hosted by the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center will be held on June 15-16, 2021. This virtual event, titled “Breaking Down Barriers: Addressing Challenging Research and Regulations”, will cover a variety of riveting themes, such as conducting research in emergency medical situations, increasing and diversifying clinical trials, and advancing research in response to COVID. The event will feature distinguished keynote speakers including Professor Ahamed H. Idris, Ms. Tesheia Johnson, and the Reverend Dr. Leroy Perry.
A maximum of 8 hours of continuing education credits (CIP and CNE) can be claimed for both days or 4 hours for each day. These sessions are eligible as accredited continuing education units for CIP and SOCRA accreditation and provide nursing continuing professional development contact hours (NCPD).

Coming soon! Virtual Workshop on Research involving AI/AN Populations! Earn CIP credits!

Interested in conducting research involving AI/AN populations? Then mark your calendars for Thursday, August 26, 2021, 1:00 – 3:00pm EDT. OHRP will be hosting a virtual workshop on Supporting Ethical Research Involving American Indian/Alaskan Native (AI/AN) Populations. This workshop will discuss how to conduct and review human subjects research involving American Indian/Alaskan Native (AI/AN) populations. Access is free and no registration is required.

On Friday, September 24, 2021 OHRP will be hosting its 4th Annual Exploratory Workshop. This year’s topic is “Review of Third-Party Research Risks: Is There a Role for IRBs?”
