Your attendance (virtual or in-person) is sponsored through CSTE LEAD. Please provide your details in the sponsorship form link below by Thursday, January 6th. It is okay if you aren’t sure if you will attend virtually or in person, you can decide later when you complete conference registration starting in February. Of note, when you actually register for conference you will be able to select any workshop you would like to attend. The CSTE LEAD sponsorship does not require specific workshop attendance.

Dear Jessica,
The Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) is currently planning for the 2022 Annual Conference to be held in-person, June 19-23, 2022, in Louisville, Kentucky. At this time, CSTE will be offering two types of registration for either in-person or virtual attendance. However, if circumstances change due to public health recommendations for group gatherings due to COVID-19, then all portions of the conference will be held virtually.
This year, CSTE is able to support limited in-person or virtual conference sponsorship tied to Sunday workshop attendance. We are also interested in learning about jurisdictional travel restrictions, member comfort with travel, and other related topics that may impact the conference format.

Please note that submission of this form does not guarantee receipt of conference sponsorship. Funding support may also vary by workshop or program areas. Updates on funding status and official travel letters with sponsorship details for those selected will be sent to applicants on or after February 1, 2022.

I have a question about the form - would our CSTE LEAD sponsorship cover hotel, airfare, etc.? The form says, "This year, CSTE will offer sponsorship for in-person attendance (may include in-person conference registration, hotel accommodations, airfare or rental car coverage, per diem, ground transportation, and parking fees) or virtual attendance (virtual registration only)." I doubt I could get the money from the state on my own so want to know what I'm signing up for!
