Hello, everyone! This is Karen Martin from the Minnesota Department of Health. I'm a senior infectious disease epidemiologist and coordinate respiratory surveillance at our state health department. I've been the State Influenza Coordinator for several years and currently lead COVID-19 long-term care surveillance in the pandemic response. My project involves incorporating SARS-CoV-2, with its changing epidemiology post vaccination, into population-based surveillance by leveraging existing respiratory surveillance programs. I'm very much looking forward to this program and getting to know you all!
