Hello from Kentucky!

Hi!  My name is Carrell Rush and I am the Reportable Diseases Section Supervisor at the Kentucky Department for Public Health. I have served as the senior Foodborne and Waterborne Disease Epidemiologist for Kentucky since 2015. Prior to that, I served as the Lab-Epi Liaison for three years. My project will focus on enhancing surveillance and cluster detection for waterborne diseases- particularly Legionella and Cryptosporidium- as well as developing triggers for public health action, standardized investigation protocols and intervention measures, and public health policy.
