Hi from Indiana!

Hi everyone, my name is Jamie Black and I'm from the Indiana Department of Health's STD Prevention Program! I manage the Strengthening the US Response to Resistant Gonorrhea (SURRG) grant, as well as supervise our surveillance grant/data management staff. I've worked as an epidemiologist for three years, with my specialties being STDs, antibiotic resistance, and outbreak response and preparedness. My CSTE LEAD project will focus on creating a new branch to our STD Prevention program here in Indiana-- the STD Surveillance Program! In my free time, I enjoy trying out new coffee beans, reading (currently The Witcher series), and playing with my lab-mix, Livvy. So excited to join the LEAD cohort!
