Hi from New Jersey!
Hello everyone!
My name is Rebecca Greeley and I have been with the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) since 2007, when I was an infectious disease CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow. I am now an a senior-level epidemiologist and I oversee the Infection Control, Healthcare, & Environmental Epidemiology group within our Communicable Disease Service, and guide the team that works on healthcare-associated infections (HAI), antimicrobial resistance (AR), infection control and assessment (ICAR), and Legionnaires' diseases. My current team has been focusing on being subject-matter experts for infection control regarding COVID-19 transmission. I am excited to be part of the LEAD program because the size of my team will be growing by 3x with new funding, positions, deliverables. I am looking forward to continuing to grow as an effective leader and supervisor at NJDOH, specifically inspiring a team!
