Lyme surveillance summary in upcoming MMWR and 2016 numbers just posted

The topic of surveillance summaries on here today is relevant, as I wanted to give you all a heads' up that CDC is publishing a surveillance summary in MMWR this week, entitled "Surveillance for Lyme disease--United States, 2008-2015". We aren't sure how much media attention it may garner, but if you receive inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Also, the 2016 final counts of all notifiable diseases are now live on CDC WONDER--these data will no longer appear in the MMWR. Our Lyme site has been updated accordingly. We anticipate additional changes to the stats part of that website in the near future, with provision of brand new tables, charts, and maps.
