📢 5/4 ELR Call Follow-Up: APHL Survey, Specimen ID codes

2) Here are the codes Riki supplied regarding specimen ID: 

LAB202^Specimen ID^PHINQUESTION  and send it as additional OBX using OBX-3 and send the accession number in OBX-5 as ST (OBX-2 value).Other options for coding for this element if that better describes the specimen ID:  PLT221^Original Submitter Lab SpecimenID^PLTPLT2050^Hospital ReferenceLab specimen ID^PLTPLT687^SPHL specimen ID^PLT

Michelle Miller, Informatics Michelle - We asked Lucira and this is their answer:
 
The 2 tests are identical.

“all-in-one” test is the name of the prescription test
“Check-IT” is the OTC that anyone can readily buy.
 
So, I guess the answer is “Check-IT” for the OTC version that Lucira is sending to AIMS.
