AIMS GO LIVE ALERT: ABBOTT

Abbott will begin sending production SARS-CoV-2 result data through the AIMS Centralized ELR feed starting Tuesday October 6. Please see attachment for full announcement and important details.

I and Matt Donahue on our team just got off the phone with a developer at Abbott who works on the NAVICA app that enables upload of data related to the Abbott BINAX test to the Abbott cloud.  Originally intended for provisioning results back to patients, they are now engaged in harvesting that data off the Abbott cloud and provisioning it to public health jurisdictions as electronic lab reporting, and are expected to do so via the AIMS hub.  Goal is to have it operational before the end of the year, hopefully sooner...  Just FYI.  Tom Safranek

Hi all, 
How are other states working through reporting for the mass distribution of Binax tests? Given the cost associate with the Abbott cloud reporting process, seems like we are all having to find alternate means?
