APHL/CDC ramping up COVID TA for lab data reporting and other needs
Hi all,
I sent out a formal email a bit earlier (a pdf version is attached) - but I wanted to post something here in case it is more convenient than your overflowing email inboxes.
Starting this week, APHL, in collaboration with CDC, will launch the CELR project, focused on the transmission of COVID-19 line listing lab data via to CDC through the AIMS platform to meet current HHS reporting mandates.

Starting this week, APHL, in collaboration with CDC, will launch the CELR project, focused on the transmission of COVID-19 line listing lab data via to CDC through the AIMS platform to meet current HHS reporting mandates.
APHL will be providing direct technical assistance to support your efforts to send these data to CDC through AIMS and we are in the process of scaling up resources and finalizing the processes to support you. We will follow a similar approach as other APHL/CDC TA projects; however, due to the time-sensitive nature of this effort, we hope to streamline parts of our approach.
In addition to this initiative, CDC/APHL will be expanding options to ask for informatics technical assistance- this may include ELR support for new or existing submitters, GENV2 implementation support, data integration expertise, terminology and standards, validation services etc...
We look forward to ramping up this CELR effort, and hope that we can provide assistance along the way to lighten your load.
Wishing you all the best during this difficult time-
Michelle
