😢 Biocerna/Matrix Clinical Labs Backlog

Good afternoon,

Iowa just received a backlog of positive results from Matrix Clinical Labs. The positive lab results are all from May and June of 2020. Has any other state received a similar backlog from Matrix?

Thanks.

Maryland has as well. We received a CSV but haven't processed it yet. Waiting on a response from Biocerna as to why we are receiving results that are over a year old.

We (NC) received a file with really old lab results (all positive) from Biocerna as well. I think they were all duplicates of reports that had been faxed to us prior to them onboarding to send CSV files. Has anyone received any explanation as to why these were generated?

to me
Hi John,

Thank you for asking.
It did affect [other states], however, the vast majority of the results have already been resolved and I’m tying up loose ends today as they come to make sure questions are answered.
The backlog is from prior to my hire last year, and this was in an effort to ensure the integrity our reporting. It had come to my attention that there were results not reported from early last year.
I understand that your state had many of these backlogged results. If there is any issue with these results making it into the database, then I do apologize for the suddenness of this all. I’ll do what is needed to make sure that the can be digestible for your database.

If you do not require the results due to their age then I apologize for the inconvenience and please disregard and delete any records that would have caused issue.

-Best,
