BioReference Laboratories

I'm assuming there are some states that have ELR feeds from BioReference Laboratories. If so, could you pass along any contact information you may have? Thanks!

Marisol Padilla mapadilla@BioReference.com<mailto:mapadilla@BioReference.com> is the contact I have used in the past. We are currently receiving COVID ELR from them.

Marisol no longer works at Bioreference. The new contact for State Reporting is Shirley Mordan.

Thanks! Good to know. They have been ELR with us for a while so I haven’t need to engage with them. Adding this contact.

I have a call at 1 PM with them -- they say they have HL2.3.1 - We're going to see if we can push them to 2.5.1 for us.

Nancy,

We have had good 2.3.1 from Bio Ref for a couple years and their COVID tests are pretty good QA-wise.

Has anyone interacted with Bioreference recently? My old contact was Marisol. I reached out to Shirley Mordan as listed here and she is on maternity issue. Having issues with missing DOBs and turnaround times and would like to talk to someone. I have reached out to suggested contacts in Shirley's email and the contact above and have heard nothing.

I received a reply on an inquiry from Jamilia Jones <jajones@BioReference.com>  earlier in June.
Nancy Barrett, Epi 4/PH Informatics Specialist
Jack is on vacation until July 10. I sent an email to Jamilia today and also to   DOH@bioreference.com their operations email. We are trying to get some last items fixed so we can go to production HL7 2.3.1 with them.
David DiCesare
Jamilia Jones is the current State Reporting contact. We have had serious issues with their reporting (both demographics and turnaround time) as well. The problem is that they are taking in more tests than they can handle. They are not late in reporting, but are seeing a long wait between when they receive the specimen and when they actually perform the test. We current receive between 18000 – 25000 test results per day from them.

Thanks and Stay Safe,

Hi -- which lab is doing testing for the Northeast states - Elmwood NJ or Gaithersburg MD or both. We are having trouble getting the correct lab in OBX-15 for the 2.3.1 files (why 2.3.1????). thanks!
