Complication of SFTP connection on the Cloud
In Arizona we have moved all our ELR infrastructure to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. This includes our SFTP server that we receive most of our ELR data through. Recently we lost connection to one of our major ELR partners because AWS, as a standard practice changes the IP address ranges that the server is located on every so often. This specific ELR vendor, due to their own security rules, exclusively uses IP address ranges to connect to our SFTP server, so we expect to run into this issue again. We did get the connection established again, but it took a good amount of time for them to go through their networking team to get the connection re-established.
Has anyone else experienced this sort of issue? Do you have any ideas on a workaround?
