COVID-19 Interstate Notifications

With the ending of the PHE, Oklahoma is trying to determine which states still need/want to receive COVID-19 interstate notifications to update our internal processes. Oklahoma does still need them as our state rules still require individual COVID-19 case/lab reporting. Thank you!

The reporting requirements prior to the end of the PHE for COVID-19 are no longer being enforced in Oregon. Oregon is still determining new rules around COVID-19 reporting, but we no longer need to receive this data via Interstate exchange.
Merylyn Huitz
Virginia would like to receive notification of positive COVID-19 cases/labs.
Allison Longenberger
COVID is no longer a reportable condition in PA with the ending of the PHE. We are asking for voluntary reporting from ELR labs but we no longer need to receive positive results or case information via interstate exchange.

The rules in Illinois as of now have not changed since the changes that went in April of 2022, so we still want the positives and the negative NAATs.
Morrow Toomey, Public Health Informaticist at State of Alaska
Alaska continues to require positive COVID-19 case and lab reporting. With the end of the PHE, we no longer require negative COVID-19 lab results. Thank you!
