Covid Results for Other States

With NYS being the highest volume at this point in time we are receiving a lot of covid results for patients who do not live in NYS.  For those states that we do not have an electronic feed with, please email me directly if you have a secure fax that we can fax the results for patients for your state.  With most things here being shut down, simply mailing results as normal will take way too long.  my direct email is david.dicesare@health.ny.gov.  Or call me at 866-325-7743.

Hello,

Would anyone be interested in compiling a list of contacts for each state and email addresses where COVID and possibly other results can be sent? We are getting a very large amount of OOS results. While we do have interstate ELR exchange with DC and VA, there are results from other states. It is much easier to send by secure email than to fax each result (we are all understaffed and very busy so anything to save time is appreciated!!)

PA can accept HL7 if another state wants to have an account created in our PA-NEDSS system. Our site allows manual upload of 2.3.1 or 2.5.1 messages. Please contact me if you would like to go with this method. If you can export PA cases and send them in HL7 we will gladly take them.
