Doctor's Clinical Laboratory

Nancy asked about this back in January ("scam" alert), but I have not seen anyone discuss details about what dealings they may have had. Have other states received lab results (not necessarily ELR) from this facility? Did you enter any results from them prior to their being shut down? How have other states dealt with this lab's findings?

We were getting flat files from them from December through when they were shut down. Data quality seemed fine.

We have been trying to get them to report since November when we first heard about them testing Michigan patients. Just recently they said they are closing but have 51,000 COVID19 test results to report to us going back to May 2021. Currently awaiting the file to be sent.

Doctors Clinical Laboratory was processing specimens for Center for COVID Control. I was beginning to onboard DCL and Center for COVID Control shortly after news broke that there were concerns of fraud. I had difficulty getting any information out of whomever I was chatting with via email and eventually they noted that they were no longer processing specimens because the Center for COVID Control was closed down indefinitely.  We received ELR's for the week of 1/07/22-1/11/22 and have not received any other data at this time.  

Here are the issues we found in Oregon: 
  1. No Valid CLIA Certificate. No notification of testing in Oregon-required by CLIA/Lab Compliance. 
  2. Oregon Law requires all test be ordered by an Authorized Provider boarded in the State of Oregon.
  3. Not Reporting results to Oregon Health Authority.
  4.  Concerns regarding accuracy of performance of testing.
  5. The laboratory also collects sample for PCR testing and sent to Doctors Clinical Lab CLIA# 14D0988472 located in 1685 Winnetka Circle, Rolling Meadow IL. 6008.
